With over, 50+ years of experience between us, we have extensive knowledge of how pack dynamics work and have spent the last 25 years perfecting our craft to better owner’s training experiences.

Our training techniques are based on what our dogs have taught us throughout the years as well as working with packs of dogs at our daycare facilities and interpreting our findings into easy-to-follow training styles that are simple for owners to implement in their own homes.  When developing our online courses, it was important to us that our methods stayed true to a dog’s origins so we have created humanised training techniques to properly emulate the lessons mother dogs and leader dogs were teaching their juveniles.

Because we have been privileged enough to work with thousands of dogs and their owners, we have also made a point to ensure all our course material is as in-depth as possible, without all the technological jargon, making it easier for owners to communicate with their dog, in a way they will truly understand. Our training methods are simplistic and adaptable to suit all dogs and their humans. We use balanced training techniques for quick and effective results, as it is the most natural way a dog learns, as we discovered through observing different packs of dogs. There is no need to yell or be physical with a dog nor is there any need to use clickers to get the best out of your dog, all you need is consistency, compassion and understanding to give your dog what it needs.

Throughout the years, we are often asked “How do you become a dog trainer?” or “Why do you make it look so easy?” we reply “We are people trainers, not dog trainers“. Early on in our career, it became apparent that if we alter our behaviour, to be more in line with how a dog thinks and understands life, dogs will respond almost immediately. Resulting in a significant change in the dog’s energy and behaviour toward you, making it calmer and happier.
